Burn Baby BURN

I went to Palmdale this weekend and it wasn't very eventful. I love going home to relax, hang out with my family and hometown friends. But this weekend I reached the point where I was too relax where it turned into boredom, my family sleeps at 10pm and the only hometown friends that I really hang out with aren't home or off doing things I rather not do. Times like these I wish I had my baby hookah. Right when I got back to Irvine, I set up the hookah. hahaha.

Well many of you know about the fire going on. It was pretty crazy because it was really close to Palmdale. Driving home made me feel like I was driving into a tornado. Everything became "sepia". It was nuts because if you look forward it was like you were in a western movie, but if you look back it was all blue sky. The only "good thing" (not saying the fire is a good thing at all) was that the smoke was covering the sun so it wasn't beating the on us. IT would of been HOT, burning darkening HOT. Now I would like to share my experience with you. (Pictures provided by Tina Productions)

Crazy, right?

Speaking of burning. Something happened to my eye this weekend. At first I thought I had pink eye, thank bob I didn't. It was probably because I slept with my contacts on but it was painful. Some people need to clean their sheets (cough* Albert Chang *cough). I seriously thought I had pink eye. It is a bit swollen right now, but I think I will survive.

Side note: My sister was in the newspaper back at home. So cute! She is making me proud :]

Alright, so mountains might burn and my eye might burn. Baby don't think you can burn me.

It is or is it?

At work we decided there are two different ways to ask for the time.

"What time is it?

"Do you know what time it is?

Now try saying each line, but switching the "is" and the "it".

"What time it is?"

"Do you know what time is it?"

It doesn't make sense, or does it? After concluding the two proper ways, we discovered that if you say "What time it is?" in a more ghetto accent it could still work. I suggest you try it out and see if anyone notices. It could just be my coworkers put too much thought in simple words. But they always seem to put a smile on my face and crazy thoughts in my head. And that's how IT IS! (or is it?)

Just on the side. I am extremely mad at the mail. I love to clip coupons and the mail has been lacking on some good ones. I swear I check the mail everyday, not to see if I have any personal mail, but to clip the coupons. I am not ashamed of my coupon clippings!

And the things you find around the bookstore down in coursebooks. WTF does this mean?
"I didn't smoke in your beanie. It was the team BBQ. HAHA"

So Tina and I went to the beach to catch up on some reading. Tina's book looks pretty awesome

Fool me once, shame on you

Fool me twice, shame on me.

I am not sure who this quote is from, but I know many of you have probably heard it before. This quote can have a lot of meaning (in my eyes).

Second chances. When thinking of giving a "second chance" to someone or something this quote is highly appropriate. If you are on the verge of giving a second chance, RED FLAG. Warning, if they can fool you once, trust they can do it again. And if it happens that is your bad, blame only yourself. Now, I am not saying I do not believe in change. I know people and situations can change, but it is only proper to approach with caution.

Am I a victim of the "FMT" (Fool Me Twice)? HELL YEA I am. I am only human and we do these things called "mistakes". I am a hopeful person and I do believe in the good. And yes, I'll risk it (I wouldn't say risk it all, but I'll risk something). I hate thinking "what if"'s. A bit of FMT in my life has made me stronger person and somewhat narrow down what I am looking for in my life. I am still not sure what that is, but who really does.

Now if you find your self saying "fool me three times... four times... five times....ten times?!". GIRL/BOY, you better quit that shit! You are now just ACTING LIKE A FOOL. Get that drama out of your life and keep it to a FMT.

Anyways, I love coming across intresting things, I love it more when I have my camera phone with me: (BTW caption is looking better before the picture)

Wheat thins on the Medical shelves? So I am assuming 2 things in this pictures: 1. A medical student who is getting their books is a stress ball. To calm their nerves they carry wheat thins to eat. They realize that we didn't have the book that they crucially need (when in reality they don't need it unit like Sep. 15th or something) so they busted out some wheat thins and started munching on that shit and was so angry they decided to leave us some. 2. A worker, most likely some one who doesn't work at Coursebooks, got hungry on the job.

Who knits a DONUT. Honestly.

I love pictures, especially random ones.

If the hat was bigger this would be my Halloween costume.

My winnings at Morango.

This is dedicated to all the Lambrusco lovers out there.

My little fisherman at work.

Ps. I realize I just followed my self, is that weird?

Pss. Why am I up you ask? I don't know either.
