Pink's Hot Dogs, Artist Crawfish Express and Flower Pig

Trying new places to eat is always fun.

Pink's Hot Dogs:
A popular hot dog stand in LA that has a line looping around the building. Make sure you go at the right time or you might just be waiting for a hour just for a foot long hot dog. Worth it? It is something to experience, like a little heart attack in a bun. So I would say... YEA. I had a good first experience with my "Planet Hollywood", lucky us we only waited for about 30 minutes. IT WAS DELISH.

From what I remember, this has cheese,  jalapenos, grilled onions, bacon and mushrooms.  Drooling yet?

On Yelp there are mixed reviews, I guess it just depends on you an your willingness to try new things and how far you are willing to go and in this case, wait.  With good company, its a mini trip on those days you want to do something different.

Artist CrawFish Express:

Tired of waiting for hours for a table at Boiling Crab?  There are actually MANY similar crawfish/shrimp places to eat on Brookhurst/Euclid street.  So don't be so disappointed when you see a large crowd in front of Boiling Crab, there are other options!  I discovered this place on Yelp (along with many others) craving shrimp, but not wait forever.  It had some good ratings (minus those Boiling Crab's loyal subjects).

Now instead of plastic bags, they use a metal bucket.  So there is a limit on how messy you can get here. Although, they have some great deals here, $4 for a pound of crawfish?!  Now that is amazing.  They have similar seasonings, so you can still get that "shibang".  Something that I personally enjoyed other than the shrimp and crawfish was the GARLIC FRIES.  It was good mixture to the consumed cholesterol.  And did I mention NO WAITING?  We were seated super quick, just how I like it.

Flower Pig:

MEAT MEAT MEAT.  All you cant eat Korean BBQ of $9.99.  Enough said.

The reasons why I enjoyed: 1. All you can eat, 2. $9.99, 3. I love meat, 4. Good company, 5. Lots of appetizers and Kimchi.  However, horrible service.  I mean there are 2 younger servers for the whole restaurant and the rest were old people who are too lazy to help the customers.  And also you smell after, but who doesn't after you are cooking your own food.  Other than that, it was something different!

Happy eating!
